How To Create a Group

Be prepared

Have assets at the ready for creating a new Group

Have a cover photo ready to upload. This is the image that appears at the top of the Group page on the app.

Have a thumbnail photo ready to upload. This is the image that appears at the next to the group as a visual identifier.

Fill in the details for About, Website and Location. These defining characteristics help Members to understand the Group a bit better.

Organizations with a Business Membership can create Groups within their Organization that can be used as a way to segment your audiences. Business Members can create an unlimited number of Groups on Loop :45 and can have unlimited Members.

Step 1: Login

Log in to the Loop :45 Dashboard.

Click the ”Add Group” to add a new Group.

Step 2: Enter details

Fill in Group details including Group Name, Profile Image and Cover Image. These will appear to you Members in the App and are a great way to customize the branded experience for your environment on Loop :45.

Step 3: Select desired settings

Set preferences in "Settings". Add yourself as an Group Director if you want to have an Administrative Role in the Group. The Admin can Create Videos, Add Groups, and Members.

Click “Done”.

Step 4: Select desired preferences

Set "Preferences".

Discoverability: This allows members outside of your Group to find the Group when searching on Loop :45.

Membership Requests: This allows the Organization Admin to approve Members before joining the Group.

Default Member Role: There are two Group member Role options “Group Creator” and “Group Participant”. Group Creators can create and share videos whereas Group Members cannot. As this is a video sharing platform, we encourage you to think about allowing every Member to Create videos once you have set the expectations and parameters for video creation and sharing.
