With Text Overlays, you can reinforce messages directly on your video, making it easy for viewers to follow along and feel more connected to your content.
Add Overlays directly to your :45s!
Amplify engagement and reinforce key messages by incorporating dynamic text and image overlays directly onto your videos. Customize the placement and size for added impact.
When adding overlays, follow these three simple steps!
Begin by opening the Loop :45 app on your device and tapping the “Studio”. From tap “Create”, to create your Video.
Loop :45 allows you to add Overlays to videos recorded in the app or uploaded directly from your device. To proceed, simply select “Record a Video” or “Upload from Device”. Once you have successfully recorded or uploaded your Video, you will be brought to the Video Editor.
Once in the Video Editor, begin by tapping “Add Overlay” in the lower right corner.
To add an Image Overlay, select “Add Image” from the “Add Overlay” Menu. This will lead you directly to the camera roll on your device. To ensure access to your camera roll, please make sure your settings are properly configured.

From your Camera Roll, select the image you’d like to add to your Video.
Then, from the Video Editor, tap the image, and use the scrubber to align the image with the time span you’d like it to appear on the screen.
Tap the image to adjust the placement and drag it to where you’d like to place it in your video.
To adjust the image size, simply pinch the corners of the image.
Try adding a title, caption, or even an exclamation to capture viewers’ attention and make your content more compelling.
To add a Text Overlay, select “Add Text” from the “Add Overlay” Menu.
From here, type the text directly into the text box.
Customize the Text Overlay by tapping the icons to select the font color and background color.
Then, from the Video Editor, tap the text overlay, and use the scrubber to align the overlay with the time span you’d like it to appear on the screen.
Tap the text to adjust the placement and drag it to where you’d like to place it in your video.
To adjust the text size, simply pinch the corners of the overlay.
Remember, you can add up to five overlays in a single :45.
