How To Use the Teleprompter

Prep Your Message

Create a script before you start recording

It's useful to have a script or messaging points prepared ahead of recording.

Simply write the script or points and then have them ready to copy for the Teleprompter.

Deliver your message with confidence, authenticity and ease. Create professional, engaging, and polished video content without memorizing your lines. Simply drop your script into the Teleprompter directly in the App, find the right pace for you, press record, and let the tool guide you to delivering an impactful message that captures your audience’s attention.

When using the Teleprompter, follow these five easy steps.

Step One: Get Started

Begin by opening the Loop :45 App on your device and tapping  “Studio”. From here, tap “Create”,  “Record Video”,  and then select the text bubble icon in the upper left hand corner of your screen.

Step Two: Add Your Script

Add your script. If you need guidance in writing your script, review our Tips to Deliver the Most Impactful Message.

Once your script is ready, select the “+” button. From here, tap the text box and copy and paste or type your script directly. Remember to give your script a title so you can easily find it at any time. All scripts are automatically saved in this tab for safe keeping.

Step Three: Adjust Your Settings

Experiment with the text size, color, and scrolling speed. Tap the pencil icon to minimize the script. Try a few practice takes to get comfortable with the Teleprompter’s pace and readability and adjust the settings as needed.

Step Four: Set up Your Recording Space

Place your phone at eye level and position yourself within the frame to ensure you’re at eye level with the text as it scrolls on the screen.

Step Five: Record Your Message

Tap the red record button. Wait for the 3-2-1 countdown. Smile at the camera. Speak naturally and maintain eye contact while reading your script.  Once complete, tap the continue button, and that’s a wrap!
