Troubleshoot: Cannot Access Group

If your Organization has a Membership on Loop :45, they have the ability to create an unlimited number of Groups. The Organization Owner, Admins or Group Directors have control over who is invited to each Group and the visibility of each Group on the App. Meaning, sometimes they may choose to make the Group hidden so that it is not searchable by Members or Non-Members.

Problem: Unable to view or access a Group

Here are some troubleshooting tips:

  • If you've already received an email invitation, confirm that you've accepted the invite using the unique invite link or by scanning the Group-specific QR code. If you haven't received an email invitation, reach out to the leader or Group Director of the Group.
  • If you have downloaded the Loop :45 App directly from the App store without clicking through from a link in an invitation, then you may have joined Loop :45 without being affiliated with any Group. If this is the case, you have a few options.
  • On the Home Page of the Loop :45 App, locate the magnifying glass icon on the top right of the screen. Tap it and search for your Group. Use keywords to identify the Group, for example, the name of the Organization or College, the focus of the Group (e.g. Marketing, Team, Leadership, etc). Once you find the Group, select it and join or request to join the Group.

  • If the search returns no results, don't fret. It may be that the Group is not visible in Search Results.
  • Reach out to the leader or Group Director of the Group. You can be sent an invitation to join the Group via email. Once you receive the invitation, click on the link that will take you directly to join the Group to which you were invited. Alternatively, the Group Director can show you a QR code that can be used to directly join the Group to which you were invited.
